Our cuisine focuses on homemade, local and Mediterranean cooking. We use simple recipes while keeping the quality high, doing our utmost to use fresh and local produce. Fresh, handmade pasta all’UOVO turns any pasta dish into something special. First, choose your pasta variety (tagliatelle, spaghettoni, penne, paccheri, conchiglie or mezze busiate), then take your pick of the fresh sauces on offer that day. We even offer wholegrain pasta (strozzapreti integrali) and gluten free pasta.
Bread is best
Choose from a selection of fresh, rustic bread with crispy crusts and fluffy centres. Our choice of bread stays true to our Mediterranean cuisine and you can opt for a Maltese ftira, a French baguette or an Italian ciabatta. From tasty Italian Prosciutto crudo and fresh mozzarella di bufala, to a medley of tuna, capers, tomatoes and olives, our ingredients are of the highest and freshest quality.
Hearty and Healthy
We’ve combined healthy pulses with tasty ingredients and seasoning. Choose from quinoa, rice and bulgur wheat teamed with fresh vegetables, nuts, seeds and tangy dressings.
Traditional treats
We offer a variety of traditional pies with juicy fillings and crusty pastry: choose from timpana, meat chicken and tuna pies.
We also have some traditional dishes including the tasty fish soup Aljotta, well-seasoned octopus, succulent rabbit and swordfish with a zesty olive and caper sauce.
And, when it is in season, we offer dishes using the tasty rainbow fish lampuka.
Beloved Burgers
We make our own mince for our succulent Angus beef burgers and local pork burgers. We also make vegetarian burgers using chickpeas and a selection of flavoursome spices.
Prizeworthy pizza
Using bread dough from our own bakery, our pizza is special and unique. In fact we’ve given it our own name: pizza ftira. The crispy dough will melt in your mouth as you savour our various toppings on offer.
Divine Desserts
Our traditional homemade desserts include the moist chocolate and bread Pudding and the divine date fritters (imqaret) served with fig ice-cream. And there’s more: a tangy orange creme brulée, fluffy ricotta cannoli, chocolate fondant and amaretto Panna cotta.

Our menu boasts a variety of local and foreign wines including a selection of organic wines as well as a selection of classic cocktails.
